Youville Place Assisted Living Residence, Lexington, Massachusetts
www.youvilleplace.org
In 1996, the Provincial House of the Grey Nuns was transformed into a very special assisted living residence in the spirit of St. Marguerite d’Youville. The mission of Youville Place is to provide a secure home environment and an array of personal care services which promote the dignity and well-being of all residents, while celebrating each person’s individual spirit. The volunteer program at Youville Place is enthusiastically supported by the Recreation Department.

Currently, volunteers teach individual computer classes, play cards, help with craft groups, give individual support to residents, lead discussion groups, share their musical talents, and accompany residents and staff on community outings. The volunteers add a special dimension to life at Youville Place and are welcomed by staff and residents alike. For more information about volunteering, please call Paula Anton, Recreation Director, at (781) 861-3535.
